Are you ready for the journey?

Be a part of short-term service with eternal significance

South Asia is the greatest concentration of lostness on earth and has the fewest missions personnel per lost person of any other region. In India alone, 11 million lost people die every year. Most of those never have the opportunity to hear about Christ’s offer of salvation. South Asia is a region in desperate need of people to share the Good News. That’s where you come in.

There are many short-term positions available throughout the region for people to serve a two- or three-year term that will have eternal significance. In addition to the many strategic jobs available in South Asia, there are two program options specifically for ISCers and Journeymen.

theEdge - reaching unengaged areas and peoples (This program is available to Journeymen and single ISCers or ISC couples without children.)

theEdge Express - reaching non-literates through orality and storying

To find out more about the South Asia region and how you can get involved, go to our website at www.go2southasia.org.

There are also OneStory opportunities in West Africa. This region has millions of unreached and unengaged people still waiting to have an opportunity to hear the Gospel.

Have you considered working in East Asia?
More than 1.3 billion people in this region! Truly a God-sized task!
Is God calling you to help reach them?

What the IMB is all about...Church Planting Movements

Our vision

“We will lead Southern Baptists to be on mission with God
to bring all the peoples of the world to saving faith in Jesus Christ”

This means the IMB does not DO missions FOR Southern Baptists. We recognize that the Great Commission has been given to all Christians, and it is the church's responsibility to obey this command of Christ. So, we will lead Southern Baptists to be on mission with God.

We are here to help you and your church find your place of service overseas through...

Start your journey of a lifetime. We all know the will of God is to bring the nations unto Himself, the question is whether or not we will do our part in bringing the nations to Him. Contact the ISC/Journeyman Mobilization Team to help you find your place of service overseas.
